Who is Distribution Maintenance?
Distribution Maintenance is a family-run business established in 1982 and now the largest UK service provider within the warehouse and distribution industry. Our management team has over 70 years’ combined experience in the roll cage sector, covering repair, supply, thermotainers, stillages and warehouse racking.
What areas of the UK do you cover?
We operate nationwide from two depots — our Southern Depot in Harlow, Essex, and our Northern Depot in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Our mobile engineers travel to customer sites across the country.
Which industries do you supply?
We work across retail, food and drink, healthcare, laundry and workwear, logistics and distribution, wholesale and automotive. Clients include DHL, Morrisons, Superdrug, Brakes and CLEAN Linen & Workwear.
What condition does a roll cage need to be in before it’s beyond repair?
Most damage is repairable — bent frames, broken welds, damaged mesh, failed castors and hinges. We’ll tell you honestly when a cage has reached the end of its working life and replacement makes more financial sense than another repair.
How quickly can you attend a site?
Response times depend on location and workload, but we understand that a shortage of transit equipment can affect your operation within days. Call us on 01279 883 286 and we’ll give you a realistic timescale.
Do you sell new or refurbished equipment?
Both. We supply brand-new A-frame cages, stillages and magnums from our manufacturing facilities in the UK and the Far East, alongside a large stock of refurbished units.
How quickly can you deliver?
We hold thousands of cage trolleys and related equipment in stock, ready for collection or delivery within 24 hours on most orders, subject to peak periods.
